Business directory website serving Newcastle and surrounding areas. The business is based on categorised links to business sites in Newcastle, helping users searching for services or information that they are looking for locally. The site shows google adwords and sometimes we have paid adverts by businesses. Other than that the business shows links to business sites for free, and our main work involves finding businesses and adding those links.
We currently have about 25,000 visits per month and we generate about £250 per month in adwords fees, although this is growing rapidly. Our site is gaining good rank in google after 3 years, and as our content increases so does our ranking, and the increase bin adwords clicks is tangeable.
The business is run by me on a part time basis, but sadly I cannot devote enough time to it. This a great little business to run from or in your spare time, or even as a bolt on to an existing business.
